Description
Taffy is a very pretty and stylish female, with beautiful luster and locking. She was shown as a juvenile and then yearling, and placed well in the shows. She has a nice uniform fleece, sorted as a Grade 4 which is the perfect grade for yarns and socks. Her fleece is non-hairy, so her fiber does not need to be dehaired before processing in yarn, producing a higher yield. She is proven, with her first cria Hershey Bit's by Yodi's Creation born in August 2013. Hershey Bit's is dark brown and was sold.
Taffy Bit's dam is Fawn's Peruvian Bit'O'Honey, a dark fawn, high luster 1/4 Accoyo Uribe granddaughter with good density, luster, and lock. Unfortunately, we could not find a picture of her.
Her sire is MFI Accoyo Gold Rush, a fawn Accoyo Gold son. Accoyo Gold Rush is the grand son of 2Peruvian Accoyo Uribe (MF) and Accoyo Eleuteria (MF), 2 rare fawn Accoyos imported into the US in the early 1990's. Accoyo Gold, their son, is the sire of Gold Rush. All the Accoyo lineage produce heavy fleece weights with intense luster and lock. Gold Rush's grand dam is Accoyo Lyris (white), an Accoyo Torbio daughter know for her incredibly bright luster and density. This 5/8 Accoyo bloodline female carries the density from the top Accoyo herd sires, and several generations of fawn bloodlines.
