    Platinum Marquis has proven himself nationally in the show ring. Shown, as a juvenile, at the three largest North American alpaca shows (AOBA,AAA Futurity and MAPACA) in 2004, Platinum Marquis won Champion and Reserve Grey Color Champion in these three shows.His luster and his lock are so remarkable that many breeders ask if he is an accoyo. He is a full Peruvian with accoyo blood from his dam's (Silverbelle) side (Bruxo, Uribe and Helios). Silverbelle was the Reserve Grey Color Champion at both AOBA and AAA Futurity in 2002 as well as the highest selling suri alpaca at the 2002 AOBA National Auction. Platinum Marquis' sire, Silver Marquis,is a deep gunmetal silver grey, a product of two silver grey parents, Silver King and Silver Gem. Platinum Marquis, a third generation silver grey suri,sired his first crop of crias born in 2006.All of them were colored suris with excellent lock and luster and out of 14 born, 10 were grey. Since then, Platinum Marquis has produced many more champion winning cria.Some of his well known champion cria  are, GLR Marakesh , GLR Orion, GLR Kiva , GLR Picassa , GLR Chasca, GLR Silvario and Silvano of PVA.

    Description

    Ultimate Treasure just keeps getting better and better. At nine months of age she has an amazing amount of coverage from her nose to her toes. She has incredible density and tight locks.

    Platinum Marquis' Ultimate Treasure is just that - daughter of Platiunum Marquis, grandaughter of Silver Marquis, great grandaughter of Silver King and thats on her sires side. Her dams side is no less grey - daughter of Island Treasure, granddaughter of Seattle Mist, great-grandaughter of Condor. We are so excited at the silver cubed color, tight pencil locks and greasy density - this is the product of 2 outstanding breeding programs in Mystic Springs and Great Lakes Ranch! I'd like to thank them for their part in producing such an amazing animal. Island Treasure has 1st and 2nd place ribbons and Platinum Marquis won color championships in the most competetive shows in the country. Ultimate Treasure should be able to follow suit. This price reflects our desire to keep T2 (Treasure part 2) and put her in our show string next spring but we would let her go at this price.     Financing Terms

    FINANCING TERMS: Though we believe that our for sale animals are priced appropriately, all reasonable offers will be considered. Financing offered up to two years, 25% down at signing and 50% down to take animals home. Interest rate at 1% over prime. Payments will be split into equal monthly payments. No prepayment penalty. BOARDING AND TRANSPORTATION: All animals sold will be given up to a maximum of 90 days free board with a signed boarding contract in effect. After that time period, standard boarding fees will apply. Transportation expenses will be the responsibility of the purchaser, unless other agreements are made the the purchase contract. GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES: All animals sold at Red Gate Alpaca Farm come with full farm guarantees that include good health, up to date vaccinations,reproductively sound and educational support regarding care and maintenance. Guarantees and warranties will be specific to each sale and spelled out in the purchase contract.
