Product Description

We are honored to feature fiber tools that are made in the USA, especially proud that they are made right here in Indiana!!!
Local craftsman Virgil Meisner, has created his own drum carders that I offer to you. This is a roving size carder with a drum width of 2" and making rovings approximately 27" long. The unit itself measures 16.5" long and about 9" wide including the crank handle. One thing I find very neat about this carder is that it is gear driven (gears also made by Virgil) so you don't have to worry about bands/belts! The licker is adjustable and the carding cloth is for fine fibers.
The carder pictured is our used one for you to try at our shop. The carders for sale will be brand new!
