About The Cria Barn...

It is with a heavy heart that I write this message. My dear loving husband, Charlie, has passed away. Thanks to all of you who sent condolences. Your hearts are very giving, and my heart is very grateful. We have been involved with the alpaca industry for over 16 years, and have made so many wonderful friendships. I would like to continue in the alpaca industry, but must decrease my herd, as Charlie was the muscle man and could do almost anything on the farm. With that said, I am posting all of my animals.

If you have an interest in any of the animals, please contact me at 419-538-6567. Thank you .

The Cria Barn

Friendly Welcome

Centennial

The Cria Barn at Craberry Creek is situated in Northwestern Ohio, along the meandering Cranberry Creek. Since the beginning of our fanrm in 1996, our herd has grown and so has our love and knowledge of alpacas. We truly enjoy our alpacas and are excited about sharing information with established breeders and are anxious to introduce prospective owners to the industry.

We use a "hands on" approach and spend quite a bit of time with our alpacas. Consequently, our animals feel very comfortable with people, and are easy to halter, lead and manage. We are constantly improving our breeding program. We strive to provide the most desirable animal by carefully selecting herdsires and breeding females for their genetic diversity, sound conformation, superior fiber characteristics, unique color, and gentle disposition. We achieve this goal by breeding our females to some of the top herdsires in the country, and of course, by breeding to our own wonderful selection of herdsires - Victor's Vaccoyo, Mary's Harvey, NorthCoast Accoyo Centennial, and TCB Hurricane Force,

Raising alpacas is a lifestyle choice. It brings to you the benefits of self-employment and the opportunity to enjoy the gentle and calm nature of these beautiful animals. For us, getting back to nature is what it is all about!

The Cria Barn at Cranberry Creek welcomes visitors to view our collection of fine alpacas and share the joy of watching peaceful animals graze in their pastures. Schedule a farm visit today!
