Our focus at Fossum Family Farm Alpacas is breeding for exceptional suri and huacaya alpacas with a diversity in bloodlines and colors so we have someone for everyone. We offer great quality animals and exceptional customer service including on-going support & assistance. You will always receive the same great service whether you purchase fiber animals, breeding animals, breedings to our herdsires or are boarding your animals at our farm! Our farm is built on the same values we were raised with; honesty, integrity and compassion!!
Winter will soon be over....hopefully! Time to start thinking about shearing day!! The big day will be Saturday April 27th; mark your calendar to stop out and see what it is like to shear 80 alpacas!!

We are a small family farm located about 2 miles northwest of historic Northfield, Minnesota. Our interest in alpacas started in 2003 and within no time we moved from being a cattle farm to raising alpacas .. and a couple mini donkeys too! ;o) Kevin's many years of experience with livestock (dairy & beef cattle, pigs and sheep) and my great love for all animals made beginning the "alpaca lifestyle" a natural choice for us.

Our goals are to continue to build our herd at a pace that allows us to produce top-quality alpacas with award winning characteristics and bloodlines. We strive to improve each generation by using superior genetics to produce superior progeny.

All alpacas at Fossum Family Farm Alpacas are tested for BVDV and provided excellent care to help assure a strong, healthy herd.
