Foxtrot was bred to our fabulous herdsire, Patagonia's Lennox. Lennox's crias are spectacular. Their fleeces are fine and tend to exhibit a high frequency and uniform crimp throughout their blankets.

Description

PATAGONIA'S MANTECOL

Mantecol comes from a long line of champions and he is carrying on the tradition. In 2014, he was awarded brown color champion at the 2014 TxOLAN Spectacular (class of 34). He received 1st Place and Reserve Champion at the 2014 GWAS (CC was our Antonio);1st place & Reserve Champion at the 2015 California Classic (CC was our Baccus); and a blue ribbon at the 2015 California Classic.

His sire, Patagonia’s Ernesto, is our superb Judge's Choice, 7x Champion & 5x Get of Sire award winning light brown herdsire. Ernesto is known for his excellence in fineness, extreme density, uniformity of micron, buttery handle, brightness and most notably, a fleece smothered, chiseled head.

Mantecol's maternal grandsire is our Patagonia’s Vittorio, whose show record consists of 10x ribbons including a First Place at The Futurity and a First Place at Buckeye Alpaca Show. Mantecol's maternal great-grandparents are renowned black herdsire Nishio and true black Patagonia’s Querida, a 2x Color Champion with three Blue Ribbons. Nishio was the Black Color Champion at AOA, the 2004 All-American Herdsire of the Year and the 2007 Reserve All-American Herdsire of the Year, plus other recognition. along with receiving an amazing 8x Get of Sire awards.
