Uriah represents blood lines not commonly found in the Crescent Moon herd other that the fact that his dam is an Elite daughter. We sent Shiftin Gears’ full sister all the way to Massachusetts and Maple Brook Farm to breed to the incredible Pirelli owned by Mike and Robin Tierney. Take a look at Uriah and you will know that we were not disappointed. Uriah had an exceptional show career and now that he is settling we anxiously await his cria. We are expecting greatness! Uriah’s sire is a Bueno son and his dam is a Hemingway daughter. He brings an outstanding combination of density and fineness to every breeding along with world class brightness and very expressive design to the fleece. Combine all of this with his typey appearance and it is no wonder that he did so well on the AOBA circuit.

Mariposa a truly beautiful white female sired by Crescent Moon's Uriah (this line produces a high percentage of females). Uriah’s sire is a Bueno son and his dam is a Hemingway daughter. He brings an outstanding combination of density and fineness to every breeding along with world class brightness and very expressive design to the fleece.

Her dam, Islandia is an extremely stylish female that always catches peoples' eye. She has a pedigree that is packed - Augusto, Victor, Hemingway, Peruvian Aladdin. Mariposa's maternal grandsire, Maple Brook Barnabus, is a 7-time Get of Sire winner.

Mariposa is super fine and uniform with an 11-month histogram of 13.6, 2.8, 20.9, 0.4% !

She won 2nd Place at the 2012 Illinois Alpaca Show, then went on to win a Reserve Championship banner and 1st Place ribbon at the IAO 2013 show.
