Albina (ahl-BEE-nah) is our first cria here at Dutch Hollow and boy is she a big one. Weighing in at 20lbs she was a big girl for 1st time mom Bella.
Albina has grown up nicely and with a beautiful combination of both her mom and dad's fleece. Her dad added densitiy and crimp structure and she kept her mom's long staple length and the fine and shine too. Albina's fiber runs through your fingers like silk and I can't wait for this year's shearing.
I have a feeling Albina is going to be a ... |

GUESS WHAT! We have a NEW home lined up for these boys that does NOT involve the butcher.
Since I turned down an $800 offer on them and it's going to cost $$ to get them to their new home. A donation page has been set up to help get them there.

These boys go together as a package, they have bonded and would make a great small starter herd for pets or hand spinners. They are non-breeder high quality fiber guys.
Bud is the one who has so much fiber on his head he looks like he doesn't have eyes and his sire is unknown. I bought his dam as a non-breeder and 3 weeks later he showed up! Surprise! Bud is a dark brown boy with amazing fiber! I wish I knew his genetics because he is a stunning lad. Really really really dense, nice crimp structure and beautiful shine in his coat. He is very mild in temperament and enjoys pets.
Bud Lite is lighter in color than Bud. I do happen to know his genetic makeup. His damn is our Peruvian Accoyo white girl Dutch Hollow's Albina and his dad is the award winning stud Lazy Acres's Phoenix. Fantastic genetics but not what I was looking for in a cria. I breed for whites and well I got a brown. He was a $2,000 breeding! So my loss your gain. I have not registered him but if you would like to I can offer all necessary paperwork. Bud Lite is a lighter color brown, good density and medium crimp. His mom let through her stunning luster into his coat.
Merlot is the same color brown as Bud Lite but has a little white on his chin and black nose and tips. He is such a sweetie and has to get kisses from you every morning and likes his neck and chest scratched. He is super silky and soft too. He is also a food hog even though he's the smallest of the group.
Victor - the only non-alcoholic name of the group and our herd DD. Victor is a mini alpaca, he is about the same size as Bud right now but he'll never get any bigger. He looks like a perpetual cria which makes him the perfect baby sitter for the 3 weanlings. You should she the pronking and frolicking he does every time he knows food is coming! Victor is a dark bay almost black in color.
