This little lady has a big future ahead of her. She is strong and has super fiber...
Nina WW- has presence, dense fine fleece and natural mothering skills. She produced our beautiful 2008 female cria Nit Picky. This is such an awesome cria we bred Nina WW back to Star. If you are looking for that special proven breeder, here she is ready for yet another healthy summer cria.

Her grandfather Accoyo Leon: "Leon was born at the Accoyo Ranch, home of Don Julio Barreda. His ancestors have been rigorously selected since 1946. Peruvian Leon is a striking dark fawn color of perfect uniformity. His fleece measures 19.9 micron at three years of age. His head is perfectly balanced and his proud presence is breathtaking.

Rare Full Accoyo - 17 Micron - 100% Accoyo - Medium Fawn Color

Express’s Accoyo Expressions is the spitting image of his sire, who is the well known fawn CPeruvian Accoyo Express 0222 (now in restricted breeding). An amazing 80% of the time his sire Accoyo Express's phenomenal crias are the color of the dam or darker. Accoyo Expressions’s should produce the same results. Expression's fleece is fine, bright and lustrous with berber rug density. His very fine fibers display a well defined, bold crimp that parts in bundles. If you want crias with a show-winning stature, flawless conformation and very fine fleece then Expressions is your herdsire.

On top of that, add the rarity of a colored Accoyo from the now deceased CPeruvian Accoyo Albus bloodline to your herd today. His grandsire, Accoyo Albus, had only five registered offspring in the U.S. and Accoyo Express (Expression's sire) is the only male he produced in the States before being exported to England, where Albus went on to win many Get-Of-Sire championships. He passed away in July 2006 making this bloodline an even more exclusive worldwide.

The final kicker, both his sire (Accoyo Express) and his grandsire (Accoyo Albus) have registered ratios of 60% of their crias being female.

Accoyo Expressions was Brought into our Breeding to pull great colored/fleece plus, plus :)

Accoyo History- Don Julio Barreda
After many decades of rigorous genetic selection, Barreda has redefined the alpaca.

The dramatic nature of Don Julio’s results was demonstrated when 462 huacayas were shorn prior to entering quarantine for the 1995 Peruvian Five Star Alpaca Import Sale. Of the 462 huacayas, 92 were from Accoyo. The Accoyo fleeces averaged 8.61 pounds. The 370 fleeces from six other farms averaged 6.31 pounds—a difference of 2.3 pounds, or 36% per animal. The fleece of the Accoyo huacayas averaged 22.13 microns and some had micron counts as low as 17. The average standard deviation was 4.82 microns and the co-efficient of variation averaged was 22.91%. The balance of the import was about the same fineness with a higher standard deviation. The average Accoyo animal sampled was 18 months older than other imports: simply amazing.
