Boston is now Co-owned With Jan and Jim Grammar of Islay Hill Alpacas!
Boston is a gorgeous 3/4 accoyo male. His character and fineness are extremely uniform throughout his fleece. He has crimp from his top knot to his toes. He has great bundling and exceptional density. Leg coverage and bone density like you wouldn't believe. The most amazing thing about Boston is his lack of guard hair and extending primaries. Virtually none-even in his chest. I had Senior Judge, Mike Safley, my mentor, look Boston over. Mike was over the moon with him. He said "Boston is not only a step, but leaps and bounds in the right direction! Incredible male that I would breed to in a heart beat." Means a lot to me coming from Mike. He is very critical in his evaluation of alpacas, especially when it comes to studs and more so when it comes to color. I can say with full confidence that Boston is "Mike Safley approved!" At 15 months old he is 135 lbs of muscle. A very macho robust male, but with the temperament of a bunny. He is polite and well mannered. Easy to handle and let's you pet him, but not aggressive in demanding attention. This male really has it all. His pedigree is impressive with having Accoyo Tsunami, Accoyo Frederico, Accoyo Felix, and Accoyo Juliaca. All exceptional accoyos who produce high quality progeny in color. Boston's dam is a personal favorite of mine. I have known her since she was 9 months old. She has incredible fleece even now at almost 6 years old. She is a Dark rose grey with a couple of silver grey spots. Still retaining fineness, silky handle, high frequency character, and a super low CV at 16%. I wanted Boston from the moment he hit the ground. I knew he was going to be amazing because his dam produced cookie cutter replica's of Boston the last 2 times she was bred to Accoyo Paul Revere. There is no doubt in my mind that Boston will be producing amazing progeny in the future!
