Bailey is the first cria born at Three Niece Farm. Bailey is a mini-alpaca, she is a year old and smaller than our cria born in October and March.
Her dam is Noyes's Gracie and her sire is Kisman. Becasue Kisman is not registered we are unable to register Bailey with ARI. Because of that we are selling her as a companion/fiber animal. We are in the process of registering her with The International Lama Registry (ILR).
Bailey has her mom's sweet face and her quiet personality. She's perfect for people that are interested in using her fleece for spinning without having to outlay a large amount of money. Her fleece is 19.7 micron with a comfort factor of 96.7%, which means her fleece is very fine and the resulting yarn will be very soft and comfortable against the skin. Her color, beige is beautiful if spun as is but is also light enough to be dyed.
She will also make a great pet or companion for another alpaca or llama. Since alpacas are herd animals, we will not sell her to a farm unless they own other camelids. We would be willing to package her with another animal.
