Preston has it all. The looks, The Fleece and the Linage. Preston’s fleece has been described as the French fry fleece. It is super fine (below 20 at the age of 2) primary and secondary fibers the same. Super dense with the longest staple length. Oh ya it is bright. Last year I sheared Preston twice. The first was to cool him off the third week of May. We pulled an 8 lb blanket. I sheared him 6 weeks later to make sure he did not overheat during the summer. His last shearing was the second week of July. He has one Color Champion in halter and two color champions in fleece and one reserve in fleece. He has one in Reserve in walking fleece and two firsts. His first two crias are on the ground. They are more than I expected. Both girls. The first has nice bone and nice density with crimp. The second is super big bone super bright fleece and tight tight crimp. Both of these girls will be in the show ring. Liberty was born on 9/11/2012 and I am so excited. She weighted 22 lbs at birth and she is not that tall. She build like a brick.
