Granite has over 25 cria on the ground with more to come. To date he's thrown a variety of colors ranging from grey, to black, to fawn, even maroons! They have been "chips off the old block" with Granite passing along his signature thick, rope-style lock along the blanket and fabulous density. We also noticing him add an improvement on luster of the dam in his offspring.
One thing that really sets this full Peruvian, rose grey male apart from others is his total lack of Condor genetics - yep, this boy has NO CONDOR in his lines! Granite is one of the first male cria out of two time national champion grey herdsire "YODI". His dam has produced blue ribbon and champion offspring and his maternal half sister (also a color champion) has herself produced color champions.
This is a unique, one-of-a-kind male alpaca who exhibits highly sought after density, tight, ropey lock style that goes from tip to skin and an array of GREY with both ROSE and SILVER fiber.
