2012~ CABA Classic spin off results for my Chewpaca: Absence of guard hair 5/5 - Uniformity of micron 5/5 - Handle 5/5 - Uniformity of length and 1st impression 4/5 He took a 6th in a combined dark class, but I am very happy with the remarks. Also recommended use of yarn- Next to skin garments/baby items. Not bad for a 6 yr old Herdsire!

( Very Unique Coloring on this Gal) Arikara has beautiful coloring, she is mostly I guess medium brown, almost mahagony in color, she has a white face with a lot of white/grey through her neck, and grey along her back. She also has a beige spot on her right side and a area on her left hip.
Some say she could be Rose Grey.
What ever her coloring is, she is very unique and we can not wait to she what she can produce.
Arikara is a wonderful mother, she gave birth to a BEW male in June o... |

Dare I say my favorite little girl of the year!
I just adore Sophie, she has the look, the personality and the fleece and you know how every year there is just that one that you adore? Sophie is that one!
Chewpaca did just what I knew he could with Sophie. Her Dam Arikara is a real beauty but she was super coarse.
What an improvement Chewy brought to the table.
Sophie has the most beautiful coloring and look at those big eyes!
Just what I was hoping for when I matched Chewpaca up with Arikara.
Born on Labor Day, she was a surprise as her Dam hid her pregnancy very well.
I did not think she was pregnant as she was new to our farm and did not look big at all.
I had matched her up with Chewpaca and hoped that the breeding took but if not I was going to wait until Spring. SURPRISE!!!
I could not have asked for a better outcome with this pairing. Sophie is just beautiful, loaded with bundles of crimpy extremely soft fleece.
She is a keeper and we are keeping her as part of our foundation herd, I am hoping she follows her Sire.
Chewpaca started out this color and has developed into a beautiful dark rose grey!!!
DOING THE HAPPY DANCE!!!!! Sophie's fleece is growing back and I can see Grey in that blanket. L@@K's like I have me a little under cover Rose Grey girl :)
