    Hidden Hill Regent

Huacaya, Male, Unproven | Light Fawn

    AOA# 30593190   D.O.B. 7/19/2006, 3/4 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian

    Sire:
    El Toro 605 IMPG98
        |
Light Fawn, 805675, Full Chilean If you get a chance to see El Toro (affectionately referred to as ET), run as fast as you can to do so! At twelve years of age, ET is producing fiber that is competitive with the finest animals in America - his AFD is still only 25!! The most impressive number for me is his CV, still 19 -- people crow about that kind of a number on a yearling male! Here are the genetics that will ensure that offspring will retain their crimp, fineness and handle over the years! Here is a male that will wow you from afar when you spot him in the pasture as he draws your eye away from every other male out there. El Toro is part of the Studmaster (TM) Program because he represents genetics that will advance the alpaca industry. His light fawn color, exquisite conformation, stature and superior fleece -- and, most importantly, his offspring that are hitting the ground even now -- will make him a household name to North American alpaca breeders in the years to come. Dam:
    Diana's Victoriana
        |
Medium Silver Grey, 823089, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian Victoriana was produced here, and has had three male crias, one true black and the other other two light fawn. Her latest boy, Regent, is absolutely stunning, with dark eyes and lots of eyeliner. We got a "thumbs up" from our shearer when we tip sheared Reg, too, so yeh! Although she has beautiful dark blue eyes, all of her boys have dark eyes. Victoriana's sire is the well-known 4Peruvian Royal Condor, who is the deepest blue-black male we have ever seen or owned. Her dam, Princess Diana, is a true maroon with a white face. Victoriana is very easy to handle and is lead-trained, as we showed her when she was a yearling. She has always been an excellent mom, producing plenty of milk for her crias. Regent's IgG provoked some excitement at my vet's office, as it topped 4000! Victoriana has been bred to Maple Brook Artilio, our maroon Bueno son, and she is due July 28, 2007. Artilio has supported gray when bred to it, and who knows, this time around Victoriana co

    Description

Regent's sire is the incomparable El Toro. His dam is our own Diana's Victoriana, a dark silver gray daughter of the venerable 4P. Royal Condor. We formerly owned Royal Condor, who was one of the top lottery import picks in 1996. Regent's maternal granddam is our Princess Diana, a full Chilean true maroon. So, we think this boy has a motherlode of color genetics to bring to bear in a breeding program seeking quality color. Regent had one of the highest IgGs on day two that our vet's office had ever witnessed -- they called us and said it was well over 4000. Regent is possessed of excellent conformation, care of both his sire and dam. When we sheared him down as a cria, my shearer gave me a thumbs up on this boy's tui fleece. Nice, very nice. Regent's fleece exhibits so many of the qualities for which his sire, El Toro, is famous -- soft handling, excellent crimp and bundling qualities and extreme brightness. The listed price is for purchase of this boy without papers. If the buyer opts to use him in a breeding program, papers will be available at a reasonable additional cost.

    Financing Terms

We like to tailor financing to meet the needs of our clients, so we do not have set terms. Everyone has a different set of parameters, just as they do different goals, so a 'one size fits all' approach just makes no sense when talking financing terms.
