Every craftsman (or craftsperson) starts with a design...and we think that this square, compact, half-Accoyo, COLOR CHAMPION and multiple blue ribbon winner with a silky hand to his fleece will help to design the future of our herd and that of others. His daughter, Morning SKY's Spectacular by Design has already garnered 6 Color Champion and 5 Reserve Champion banners in halter and fleece!

Why would your girls benefit from a breeding to Design?

Design's was sired by Accoyo Craftsman, a multiple champion with beautiful dense fleece and excellent conformation, and a Goldsmith son. His full Peruvian dam, Danielle, maintained fineness into her breeding years, just as her predecessors have. Dani also has one of the most calm temperaments on our farm.

Design (Desi) gained his outstanding attributes from both parents -

- crimpy fleece clear down into his belly
- crimpy fleece on his neck and head
- crimpy fleece down his legs
- beautiful fleece luster
- soft fleece handle
- silky fineness
- typey, Goldsmith style head
- square conformation
- great bone, and solid, solid ,solid
- calm temperament and ease of handling

At the 2010 Maryland Classic, judge Jude Anderson commented on his fineness and density, and on the evenness through his midsection with no visible guard hair. In the fall of 2011 - a year later - she again noted his fineness, as well as his coverage.

2011 Best of the US judge Wade Gease also awarded Design a blue ribbon, and drew attention to his fineness, consistency, and the fact that he was a "sporty little package"!

Jill MacLeod was presented with a very competitive and large fawn class at the 2012 MAPACA Jubilee, and Design garnered the second place.

In 2013, Design was awarded the Light Male COLOR CHAMPION banner at the PAOBA Breeders Showcase! Judge Kevin O'Leary noted that even at age 3, Design was maintaining his fleece quality with a great degree of fineness and structure, brightness, density and length of staple along with solid conformation.
